II. IP Address and Usage Data

When you visit our website, the following usage data is temporarily stored on our web server:

After anonymizing the IP address, it is no longer possible to relate the usage data to a person. For statistical purposes and to improve the quality of our websites, we evaluate the data anonymously afterward.

III. Data Processors

We transfer your data within the scope of order processing according to Art. 28 GDPR to service providers who support us in operating our website and related processes. For the following processing, we use strictly instructed service providers: hkn.de

VI. Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to display maps and create directions. Google Maps is operated by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The embedding is based on your consent, provided you have given it via the consent banner. Please note that embedding some map services may result in your data being processed outside the EU or EEA. In some countries, there is a risk that authorities may access the data for security and surveillance purposes without informing you or allowing you to take legal action. If we use providers in unsafe third countries and you consent, the transfer to an unsafe third country is based on Art. 49 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR.

VII. Online Application

The application data you submit to us is collected and processed electronically for the purpose of handling the application process. This includes, in particular, the following personal data: first name, last name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address. If your application results in an employment contract, your submitted data may be stored in your personnel file for the usual organizational and administrative process, in compliance with relevant legal regulations.

The deletion of your submitted data occurs automatically two months after the rejection of your job application or six months after the position has been filled. This does not apply if longer storage is required due to legal requirements (e.g., the burden of proof under the General Equal Treatment Act) or if you have expressly consented to longer storage in our applicant database.

We have taken technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access. All our employees and service providers working for us are committed to the applicable data protection laws.

  5. Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)
    If data is collected based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. f) GDPR (data processing to safeguard legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  6. Right to Withdraw Consent (Art. 7 Abs. 3 GDPR)
    If the data processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw this consent at any time without affecting the legality of the data processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal.
  7. Right to Complain to the Supervisory Authority
    According to Art. 77 GDPR, you also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of data concerning you violates data protection regulations. The right to complain can be exercised, in particular, before a supervisory authority in the member state of your residence, workplace, or the location of the alleged violation.
